The rapid expansion of urban development in New South Wales has created career opportunities, especially in the field of civil engineering. However, the lack of practical and on-site experience has put many new graduate students in a difficult position to find opportunities aligned with their interests. In order to keep up with these demands, universities have the obligation to teach and nurture students with sufficient theoretical backing coupled with an emphasis on the development of practical skills. Hence, as an assurance, preparation and exposure to industrial training is a must for students to complement their academic tenure and most importantly, their future careers.
Today, as an Australian company, Perfect Engineering has decided to play a major role in the industrial training of many university students. Perfect Engineering has always felt its obligation towards the Australian society and how it can help make the country better and safer.
As a result, Perfect Engineering has developed a partnership with five major universities in Sydney and has so far had over 150 industrial students; mainly in the field of Civil Engineering. Other students interning at Perfect Engineering are from the following fields: Architecture, Aerospace, Biomedical, Construction Management, Environmental, Materials Science and Mechanical Engineering.
The five major universities are listed below:
- University of New South Wales
- The University of Sydney
- University of Technology Sydney
- Western Sydney University
- Macquarie University
The founder of Perfect Engineering, Adj. Prof. George Melhem has always insisted on providing industrial training. Providing students and graduates with guidance and training will result in students acquiring higher levels of confidence and competence in engineering practice.
